Accent Aigu & System Morgue – «Sand Textures»

Cat.# … DNA 191
Release Date … 29.03.2017
Genre … Ambient, Drone Ambient
Type … FLAC Lossless

Earth lives its life regardless of people, regardless of our activities. Earth just lives, and storms change calm, dawns follow dusks, flowers’ bloom ends up with exhausted trees’ withering. Earth lives and slowly transforms mountains to plains, then slowly fills the plains with water. Thousands years later the seas die and turn to deserts, spaces without water but with myriads of pieces of shattered matter. In a new sand sea, myriads of withered grits heat up under sunlight and get scattered by the wind around the world.

The Wanderer’s first sees inanimate and stopped time. By the second glance, he learns The Great Simoom and storms of the sands driven by hot winds. And then The Wanderer accepts this essential, unquenchable, and enigmatic Life that exists everywhere and do not need the presence.

Cat.# … DNA 190
Release Date … 13.03.2017
Genre … Ambient, Soundscape, Experimental
Type … FLAC Lossless

«With the same illusion [as Timeless], Parallel is more refined. It sends you to another world with divers mood. You get also more images on your mind and can create your own.»
— Cédric Elisabeth

Refined is not the only word to define the work. Smooth, relaxing, melahcholic, light, deep, transparent, natural, perfect, fluent, subtle, elegant – dozens of words are here to decribe emotions when «Sans Titre» changes «Excellence» or when «Grandiosa» quietly comes to its piercing, fluttering apogee and makes way to calm and contemplative «Mute». If you liked «Timeless», you will fall in love with «Parallel». Just switch it on…

Cédric Elisabeth – «Timeless»

Cat.# … DNA 179
Release Date … 08.02.2016
Genre … Ambient, Soundscape, Experimental
Type … FLAC Lossless

Variable melodies suddenly appear from nowhere and pierce supple soundscapes and noise layers. Later they slowly dissolve in the soundscapes to give birth to new consonances… Sonic illusions, deceptive images behind tangibly embossed human voices and vibrating strings tones. Awakening out of time, waiting and sound detection in the space around. Slow discovering nearest places, perception persistence accumulation, gradual incapsulation in own consciousness, fading activities, introspection, falling asleep…

This four-track work is fully builded on various combinations of sounds, noises, drones, melodies and spirits. It provokes associations, it consists of associations, it draws sonic pictures and impels listener to paint them with colors depending on his imagination.

Cover by Adam Ryde.

Tracklisting:

  1. Cédric Elisabeth – Gravity (08:12)
  2. Cédric Elisabeth – Horizon (11:13)
  3. Cédric Elisabeth – Sound Of Paris (06:08)

Depletion Region – «Granular Dominions 1»

Cat.# … DNA 168
Release Date … 21.02.2015
Genre … Experimental, Ambient
Type … FLAC Lossless

Some time ago DNA Production announced «music of micro-worlds», and now it widens at the new level of more complex matters, to some granular dominions. Here physical processes find their audio expressions. Every particle, atom, molecule find a voice to complete a choir which could describe in sonic form any process occurring within and between complex compounds whether it be stone, water, air or metal.

Here ambient soundscapes are limited to the micro world boundaries. They merge together with the aid of short electroacoustic-like sonic links as well as atoms join complex molecular compounds. Sonic compounds form sound granules. Granules interact on their own level and create new sounds – vibrating drones, short clicks, pulsing loops, and music of continuing physical processes still sounds…
