Red Fog – «Dronerider»

Cat.# … DNA 90
Release Date … 30.06.2010
Genre … Drone Ambient
Type … FLAC Lossless

Two tracks combine in the Red Fog new work. Vibrating and intensive, they create comfortless but fascinating atmosphere where space is soaked with monotonous hum and middle frequency noise, torn by fragments of grinding sound. There is little of human nature, and emptiness of abandoned rooms has replaced waves of human emotions.

Hymn for apocalypse? No, just a soundtrack for a documentary film about post-apocalyptic reality. Lifeless and sterile world just like concrete bunker in a zone of radioactive contamination.

Artworks by Red Fog.

This release is a part of «Short Drones» series – «Short Drones Part IX».

Akinesia – «Each Flower Is Love»

Cat.# … DNA 89
Release Date … 15.06.2010
Genre … Drone Ambient, Dark Ambient
Type … FLAC Lossless

A bit reserved and closed in infinite chain of its own loops, this work is similar to a lover or to a flower.

Like a lover’s mood, it’s dreamy and lonely, and its light drone loops weave a canvas which is painted with rare sounds. Like a flower, it’s romantic, impetuous and a bit tragic when stirringly light guitar chords fall on the canvas like drops of blood or petals.

A flower live whole life for weeks, hurrying to grow, to blossom, to present everybody its beauty, to love whole world each second of its life. Each flower is lively and full of love.

This twenty three minutes piece is whole life, a full cycle for a flower – from germination to fading. And somewhere between is bright and brief blossoming when each flower is as beautiful as the love itself.

Artwork by Knell.

Various Artists – «Our Demons Hide Near The Place Where Children’s Fears Sleep»

Cat.# … DNA 88
Release Date … 07.06.2010
Genre … Drone Ambient, Dark Ambient, Experimental
Type … FLAC Lossless

This compilation combine sombre and intense dark/drone ambient tracks with experimental and avantgarde works. Such combination can express better that negative emotions children experience in discovering the world around.

«Infinite Depression» by Aevum Spiritus is an unconscious and irresistible fear of the unknown resulting in lack of self-confidence, reticence and depression.

Ultra low-frequency «Home» by Raspad Atoma is a gasping for breath in horror of darkness, claustrophobia and suppressed fears.

Composed in the way of recently released at DNA Production «Nasca Lines» album, «Utkha» by Indo is a panic and impetuous run away, consciousness quelled by instincts, convulsive breathing.

Track included in «House Of Morpheus» released in March, «Chora» by Marc-Henri Arfeux is an expression of childish dreams, sometimes naive and light, sometimes anxious and disturbed, sometimes utterly nightmarish. Relief for child mind, these dreams are factor of secondary negative influence on children’s psychics.

«Non C’è Più Niente» by Behind Formal Face (J Orphic dark ambient side-project) is a child’s horrible nightmare, his heavy breathing, desperate attempts to escape from this cold well of irrational fears, crying and perspiration when awaking.

«Endorphin Haze» by Red Fog is a catatonic state after experienced nervous shock when child’s mind can’t overcome the emotional overload and escape to embryonic unconcsious state with minimal and elemental perception.

Another track by Aevum Spiritus, «Sna» is grotesque and morbid pictures in teenager’s dreams, repeated nightmares caused by forgotten irrational children’s fears.

Red Fog – «Milk Of Amnesia»

Cat.# … DNA 87
Release Date … 30.05.2010
Genre … Drone Ambient, Dark Ambient
Type … FLAC Lossless

Red Fog is new DNA Production discovery. Ultimate deep and intense drone ambient with space and post industrial influences is its distinctive feature.

Cold crushing roar, disturbing atmosphere, meshes of microsounds, slow and inescapable composition development make this work similar to repeated old nightmare. Almost cacophonic, harsh collision of sound layers in culminations, pressure, energy, depth and sound extensionality combine in the awesome mix called «Milk Of Amnesia».

Cezary Gapik – «The Limestone EP»

Cat.# … DNA 77
Release Date … 10.02.2010
Genre … Drone Ambient, Dark Ambient
Type … FLAC Lossless

DNA Production continues collaboration with Polish musician Cezary Gapik. This time we presents his new work, the footage from few months before which was published on extremely limited mini-CDR for friends only.

The album is composed in drone/dark ambient way. It slightly differs from the Cezary Gapik’s first work released at DNA Production which was full of minimalism and isolationism.

«The Limestone EP» is the short and bright experiment with cold clear ambient and vast soundscapes. It looks like a bit lifeless and creates an atmosphere of isolationism.
